| Eleanor Frances on her Wedding Day |
In her
mother’s garden, in the late evening, under the light of a summer’s full moon, holding
hands on the brick garden path, Eleanor Frances accepted the marriage proposal
of her Vimy Ridge Hero.
William Charles had just returned from a peace keeping
mission after the Great War.
There, in that Aylmer Quebec Garden, on August 2, 1921, my
grandparents (Anna’s great grandparents), celebrated their wedding day. I have
imagined it all my life. So so very romantic.
